True Friend of mine

I am all alone,

Looking for someone to hold on to,

Looking for someone who will shelter me,

And looking for someone who will never leave me.

I walked around each fleeting days,

Seeking for a new friend but I failed.

There was never any single night comes to me,

That I’m not tired, hungry, and thirsty.

All I've got to do is to sleep,

To sleep and wake up again the following day,

Another day to stand with,

And another passage to travel with.

The time I opened my eyes, I found you,

I’m sleeping in a bed beside you.

You told me that you are a friend of mine,

And you will never leave me until the end of my time.

On that day, I’m very happy and I smiled,

I thank God and because of joy, I cried,

I thank God for giving me a gift like you,

A good friend who is forever true.

Suddenly, my end came and I had to go,

You cried differently as I’ve never saw,

I asked God to tell you something that you should know,

That if I would be given another chance to live, I will never let you go.

Thanks for being a friend. Thanks for being true. Thanks for everything. :)

I wrote this one when I was alone. It’s really hard to find a true friend. Thanks for reading.
